Scope
This policy covers cookies, local storage, session storage and the app cache on altagwa.de. Browsers send cookies to the website; local storage stays in your browser unless a website feature uses it. Not every entry is created for every visitor: use depends on sign-in, basket, wishlist, chat and your privacy choice.
When we use storage
Storage strictly required for features you request, including the basket, sign-in and language, wishlist or chat functions, relies on section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Personal-data processing relies on GDPR Article 6(1)(b) for your request or contract, or Article 6(1)(f) for security and remembering your choices. Optional statistics require consent under section 25(1) TDDDG and GDPR Article 6(1)(a). Refusal does not prevent shopping or basic functions.
Storage entries, purposes and durations
These entries belong to our website domain (first party). * denotes a variable name suffix. WordPress, WooCommerce and Polylang durations are their defaults; browsers may delete earlier. Orders and messages stored on the server are not cookies and are not erased when you clear browser data.

App cache and technical files
SuperPWA uses browser cache for display files and available offline features. Files remain until an update replaces them, the browser removes them or you clear site data; we set no fixed expiry. Basket, account, checkout and private-chat routes are excluded from offline caching. Your browser may also store technical emoji-support test results and public display files. This storage is not used to build an advertising profile.
Statistics and external services
The current statistics option concerns order-source attribution within the shop. It does not authorise advertising or subscribe you to marketing emails. At the review on 12 September 2026, neither Google Analytics nor an Omnisend account was connected. New services requiring consent will only be enabled after updated information and an appropriate choice. WhatsApp and email links open external services only when selected; those providers have their own policies. Processing chatbot messages and files is a separate service, not part of statistical cookies.
Refusing, withdrawing and deleting
Choose “Necessary only” to refuse statistics, or “Allow statistics” to enable them. Cookie settings here and in every page footer let you withdraw and choose again. Withdrawal stops tracking on subsequent pages, deletes accessible Sourcebuster cookies and purchase-event markers, and reloads the page without statistics. Previous lawful processing is unaffected. You can also clear cookies and site data in browser settings; this may remove your basket, login, wishlist or ability to resume chat. Your choice applies only to this browser and device.
Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal. Contact info@altagwa.de. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Lower Saxony data protection authority. Our hosting provider may process data on our behalf to operate the website. Merely using WordPress, WooCommerce or Polylang software does not automatically send cookies to those software companies.
